Mirrors and Reflections
“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.”
As he was last seen, Iain took as much from his mother as his father. While he does have Cain’s sallow skin, he takes much from his mother, including his eerie golden eyes and stark white hair. A true scion of Blackmarch, he favored stark leathers and dark clothing. Despite he startlingly grim appearance, Iain was always cheerful, with an easy smile and a disarming manner.
That was over a century ago, when he was last seen by any member of family. He has been gone into shadow since then, and no one has even heard from him.

“There are only two mistakes that one can make on the road to the truth; not going all the way, and never starting.”
Cain’s younger child by way of one of Blackmarch’s vampires, Iain spent many of his formative years being taken care of his older sister, Schala. Were it not for her positive influence, he may have ended up more like his father than anyone cared to see. Instead, he became a productive member of the Golden Circle, and was largely appreciated by all.
After he walked the Pattern, he became fascinated by Amber and its history. His pursuits often took him away from the Golden Circle, but he always returned to study at the castle library and bounce ideas off of the mad court mage. When he was last seen, he had apparently made an interesting discovery, and he questioned Dworkin about it, then disappeared into shadow. He was never heard from again.
